What we collect when you visit this site, book a call or follow us, and what we do with it. In short: very little, only to run the studio, and we never sell it.

Who we are

The Brightest Yellow is a small web studio in Greece. We’re responsible for the personal data described here. Questions or requests: hello@thebrightestyellow.com.

This website

  • Visits. We use Google Analytics, through Google Tag Manager, to count visits and see which pages people read: the pages you view, roughly where you are, your device and browser, and how you found us. Google sets cookies to do this. We don’t use it to find out who you are, and we don’t run ads.
  • Fonts. The site’s fonts come from Google Fonts, so your browser asks Google’s servers for them and Google sees your IP address.
  • Videos. A video loads from YouTube only when you press play. Until then, nothing is sent to YouTube.
  • Booking a call. The calendar on Book a call is run by TidyCal. When you book, your name, your email and anything you write go to TidyCal and to us, so we can hold the meeting.
  • Hosting. Hostinger hosts the site and keeps standard server logs (IP address, time, the page requested) to keep it secure.

When you email us or work with us

We keep your emails and the details you share so we can reply and do the work. If you become a client, we keep contracts and invoices for as long as Greek law requires.

Our social media posts

We post on Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn. Our own publishing tool, TBY Posts, uses Meta’s and LinkedIn’s official APIs only to publish our posts to our own accounts. It doesn’t read, collect or store any information about you or anyone who follows, likes or comments. When you interact with our pages, Meta’s and LinkedIn’s own privacy policies apply.

Deleting your data

To have us delete personal data we hold about you, email hello@thebrightestyellow.com with “Delete my data” in the subject. We’ll confirm when it’s done, within 30 days. TBY Posts holds no data about Facebook, Instagram or LinkedIn users, so there’s nothing there to delete, but we’re happy to confirm that for you.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. You can also complain to the Hellenic Data Protection Authority at dpa.gr (opens in a new tab).
